 Environmental Surveys |
Maintaining an environmentally stable data centre is essential to ensure that system availability is maximised. The environment tends to get overlooked and only when a problem occurs does it get addressed and then only if it is recognised.
The EPI Environmental Survey is a comprehensive evaluation of the environment which focuses on conditions that can impact the reliability and system availability of mission critical servers and storage systems. |

What does the survey cover? |
An EPI engineer will attend the site and monitor the following: - Power quality - harmonics, spikes, sags and surges
- Temperature and relative humidity
- Air particle analysis
- Air pressure
- Air distribution
- Earthing
- Static
- RFI
Once the readings have been noted and discussions with site personnel completed all findings will be compiled in a comprehensive report, detailing the findings with conclusions and recommendations.
Upon completion of the report an EPI engineer will present the results to the client to ensure that the findings are clearly understood.
