Product Benefits

Remote Reboot
Access the iStrip remotely to restart equipment that has stopped responding. Switch equipment on and off remotely using a standard web browser or SNMP interface.

Remote Current Monitoring
Remotely monitor current draw of individual sockets.

Equipment Health Monitoring
Individual socket low and high current thresholds can be set and when crossed, the iStrip can generate an email and/or SNMP alert. This allow remote monitoring of low or excessive power draw which can reflect system health.

Socket Sequencing
Socket switch-on may be sequenced to limit inrush current upon start-up and reboot.

Vertically Rack Mounted
The iStrip does not occupy valuable rack units and allow the power sockets to be situated close to the equipment being powered, reducing cable clutter.

Non-Captive Inlet Cord
The 32A inlet cord uses a small form factor Neutrik power connector. This simplifies transportation and installation since the inlet power cord can remain detached until the iStrip is installed

Individually Fused Outlets
An equipment malfunction which overloads the incoming power supply will disable only the individual socket rather than the entire iStrip, preventing unnecessary down time.

Fuse Remote Monitoring
When a fuse fails an email and/or SNMP alert may be generated.

Per Socket Indicator LED
A bicolour LED shows the fuse status and power status for each socket. The power status can be quickly checked and any overloaded fuse can be easily identified and replaced, avoiding lengthy down time.

Mixed Format Sockets
The iStrip has two 16A and six 10A IEC sockets and supports a total load of up to 32A allowing support of high power draw equipment such as blade servers (which use 16A inlet connections) as well as lower powered equipment.

Web Interface
The iStrip includes a web server which through the use of a web brower may be used to examine status, switch sockets, configure the iStrip and view log files. The state of the socket LEDs can be viewed.

Low Cost and Simple to Install
Reduces installation time and enables intelligent power distribution within the rack at an affordable price.
