Construction
The walls and ceiling are constructed from steel faced mineral fibre insulated panels that are designed to provide fire resistance in line with BS476 part 22 for both insulation integrity and structural integrity when exposed to fire.
The panels have male/female interlocking metal facings to provide a secure and consistent joint. The panels are available in a range of thicknesses and with fire ratings of up to 120 minutes (BS476 part 22).
The mineral fibre core of the panels is inert under normal applications, repels moisture and liquids, is rot proof and does not encourage the growth of fungi, mould or bacteria. The panels are faced with steel and are white lacquer finished.
